Georgetown-Scott County Friends of the Parks are offering a unique opportunity to preserve your memories of a loved one, special occasion, or recognition of a deserving individual or group, while enhancing your favorite space for all to enjoy.
Donor Benches
The Georgetown - Scott County Friends of the Parks is pleased to offer the Donor Bench Program in cooperation with Scott County Parks and Recreation. Your bench will enhance the aesthetic and landscape value of our community for all to enjoy while preserving the legacy of a family member, friend or organization.

These limited donor benches are made from recycled materials to be long lasting and maintenance free.

Your $1100 donation covers the cost of the bench, installation, and a commemorative plaque. Benches are installed at approved sites in the order requests are received.
A limited amount of picnic tables are also available, for $1600 which covers the cost of table, installation and a commemorative plaque.

You may select the specific park for your donation. You may also request a specific area within the park, however the exact location will be determined by park staff based on needs of the park.

Once installed, the contact person will receive a letter notifying them that the bench or table has been placed. The donation period will last for the duration of the park bench life, guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years.
